Radio Media Village 90.8 FM is a community Malayalam language radio station broadcasting from Kottayam, Kerala on 90.8 MHz. St. Joseph College of Communication, a premier institution, is the first FM community radio service in Kottayam district of Kerala state. Its objective is to give voice to the voiceless by involving community members. Radio Village was established on 10 February 2012 and provides 24 hours service. It provides SJCC students with the opportunity to work and gain experience while studying. Apart from this, many media students do their project work in radio. This gives students hands on experience in conceiving, recording, editing, mixing and broadcasting a radio program.
