Radio Sarang 107.8 FM is a community radio station broadcasting from Mangaluru, Karnataka on fm band 107.8MHz. launched in 23 September 2009 by St Aloysius (Deemed to be University).
Radio Sarang is the first community radio station of Dakshina Kannada and is the only station in Karnataka to broadcast programs in four local languages – Kannada, Tulu, Konkani and Beary. The station is well-known for its local folk content—including daily Yakshagana—as well as interactive listener call-in programs focusing on social, health, legal, and economic issues.
Presently, it broadcasts programs for terrestrial radio for 16 hours, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
