Kumaon Vani 90.4 FM (आपुण रेडियो आपुण बात) is a community radio station broadcasting from Vill. Supi, Nainital, Uttarakhand on 90.4 MHz. This radio was founded on 11 March 2010 by TERI with the aim of bringing together the communities of several villages in the Kumaon region in Nainital district of Uttarakhand. The main objective of the radio station is to promote sustainable development among the local farming community. Kumaon Vani reaches out to nearly 500 villages in Nainital, Bhimtal, Almora, Ranikhet, Kausani, Champawat, Devidhura, Pithoragarh, Betalghat, Sheetlakhet, Kausani, Gwaldham, and Bagheshwar which covers a population of nearly 3,50,000 people.
This radio runs programs like live discussions in its studio, phone interviews with experts, voices of grassroots farmers, live reports from the field, quizzes, dramas and folk songs etc.
